As we get older our senses tend to degrade. The obvious change most people notice is that their eyesight gets progressively worse, those menus seemed to be getting harder and harder to read and they need to be held further and further away. Eyesight is not the only sense that is affected by age, hearing and smell can be affected as well.

This can have a profound effect on our quality of life, since it also strongly affects our sense of taste.
